In Commonwealth District play last night, Stafford comes from behind to defeat Brooke Point 6-5 in extra innings.

Senior starter Andrew Tyree pitched a strong 6 innings, taking the lead into the 7th for Brooke Point before the turning the ball over to reliever Chris Denno (2011). Stafford tied the game in the bottom the 7th, putting the game into extra innings and giving the fans some exciting free baseball.

Brooke Point regained the lead in the top of the 8th. Stafford came up in the bottom the frame and won the game on a 2 out, 2 run single by Cody Beacorn.

Trey Embrey (2010) picks up the W in relief for the Indians.

The Black-Hawks travel to Albemarle on Monday.

From scanning various FLS articles this morning here's what I have as the Commonwealth District standings (please post any corrections, thanks):

1. North Stafford Wolverines: 8-1
2. Brooke Point Black-Hawks: 6-2
3. Colonial Forge Eagles: 5-4
4. Massaponax Panthers: 5-4
5. Mountain View Wildcats: 3-6
6. Riverbend Bears: 3-6
7. Stafford Indians: 3-6
8. Albemarle Patriots: 1-7

*Albemarle and Brooke Point play a make-up game on Monday to bring their total CD games played to 9. Tied record standings are listed alphabetically as I do not have head-to-head stats, runs scored, etc.
