Recently i have changed from a closed to a normal stance. My coach thought with how strong i am it will help pull that ball to that left field fence more. Recently in AAU tournaments i have tried and I couldnt see the ball the same. I was way out in front and i couldnt pick up a curve ball.

I didnt know whether i wasnt conentrating or it was my stance. I changed back into the next game and i was doin my usuall again goin gap to gap and crushing it to the RF wall.

My Question is does a stance affect how you see the ball or was it just what i was used to or i was just ******* those couple of games?
I practice like I play, ALL OUT ALL THE TIME

usually the more open your stance is the better you can see the ball, it could have also have been a comfort thing. Some kids if they start out open do not close their stance therefore creating trouble. Some kids when they go back to a normal stance not open when they swing they pull their hips out to early, just common things i have found. But it is mainly in how comfortable you are.
