Actually Casey has thrown 32 innings and has yet to give up an earned run...His last two games he has won 1-0 and drove the winning runs in both games.

One name you won't hear, but has been tearing it up is Matt Gilhooly, Lake Zurich 07 RF. Now 29 of 60 at the dish as leadoff with 1 HR. Gil has power, but in the leadoff spot has been crushing doubles all over the field.

Another LZ player worth noting is Joey Debernardis, 08, 3b/2b, now with 24 RBI's. Started varsity as a Frosh at 2b, now hitting almost .400 (well below his carrer avg.)

Players we've faced that have impressed on the one or two times I've seen them...

Kennedy, Warren 09, strong hitter
Martini, Prairie Ridge 08, very tough out
Rubin, Stevenson RHP, doesn't look overwhelming, but finds a way to win

Both are absolute monsters at the plate.
