I need some advice...we received an invite to this camp. We get invites to various camps but we lean towards the ones that have a letter hand signed by the coach..which this one was.We have not had any contact with Stanford prior to this so I am not sure how we are on their list. It seems like a very good experience and there appears to be alot of other colleges that will be there. We had been wanting to do something on the west coast but had been looking at possibly a PG event out there. Since we can only afford to do one or the other does anyone have an opinion on which would be the best to do from an exposure standpoint? Of course my boys would go to everything that comes in the mail if they could but I just want to be sure that we are being smart about this..Thanks Mom of Mueldog

The Stanford Camp is an outstanding baseball opportunity where your guy will get to meet and play with and against players from all parts of the USA and Canada. Please note that Stanford is a high Academic University and the other schools that send Coaches are as well. Over the years, there has been all kinds of good comments on this site from parents and players that enjoyed the experience there. If you look under "Golden Threads" you will find all kinds of feedback.
Muledog:

Let me make this very clear; the Stanford Camp is the most important, best, enjoyable baseball experience that your son can go to. Do not waste another minute, fill in the form, write the check and Go!!!

He will be with 300 of the best kids for 5-days, playing in front of more coaches (not just the ones listed but the 50-100 that will be in the stands at the games).

If you need to save money, send him alone, he will be well taken care of and will talk about this experience for years to come.

Now get out the pen and checkbook and do it NOW before it is too late!!!
