My son will be attending the Stanford Camp this summer and I am curious if any posters who have previously attended this event might have any suggestions/recommendations on lodging?

Are you talking about lodging for your son, or yourself? They provide lodging in the dorms for the players. That is part of the camp package.
Sheraton, Palo Alto is right across from campus. Starts at about $100/night.
Other less expensive (and fewer amenities) hotels are along El Camino Real in Palo Alto, Mountain View, Los Altos, Menlo Park or Sunnyvale.

SIrcatchalot- also, go to the Stanford athletic web site. You'll find a list of prompts/ikons and one is for "travel". Hit that and it lists several hotels in the immediate area and links to them. One of the hotels listed is the Stanford Terrace Inn, which I'd also recommend. Most of the hotels listed will give you a special rate if you advise them you are attending a Stanford event.
heybatter - thanks ... my son is looking forward to this event with eager anticipation (not unlike those last few weeks before Christmas when he was much younger). I have to admit, after reading all the glowing reports from posters here on HSbaseball, I am looking forward to it as well.
best of luck to your son. It is a great event IMO. Lots of exposure to some tremendous schools and their coaches and a chance to receive 1st rate instruction.
