Wondering how all the coaches at the Stanford Camp get info on all the players? So many kids, multiple venues, many coaches.....I think I remember someone saying that the coaches all gather each day and share data or something?? So far, the handful of coaches my son has had positive prior contact with have not been able to see him throw - and probably won't, as they have their own teams to coach. Does anyone know how coaches receive info on all players?

I think the way it works is the player's own coach (from his assigned team) evaluates each player, and a pool of coaches (the guys behind the screens) evaluate pitchers w/ velocities, command, presence, etc.
All that info is shared after camp and the evaluation is sent to the player within 6-8 weeks or so. The eval is shared with whatever program you request.
Krak,
spizzle has this surrounded. Every player receives an evaluation and every coach who attends can receive an evaluation on every player. They do take 6-8 weeks to prepare.
The eval is prepared by the coach of your son's team but it has input and corroboration from several other coaches in attendance.
Once you have received the evaluation, you and your son can provide it to any school.
I will probably be at Sunken tomorrow morning to talk with some coaches I have met through baseball and our son's adventures. Any chance you will be there?
I hear they are using a number of fields including Canada College. Nice place but quite a distance from the Sunken.
Wow, CSM. That is a hike. But it is a beautiful new field and the views aren't bad, also.
spizzlepop is giving you great advice. Stay off the El Camino to get to CSM or Canada. Head straight to 280 which isn't crowded in the mid-peninsula area and is a beautiful drive. Both junior colleges are very accessible from that freeway.
Hey Krak, ran into Krak Jr. yesterday.. he's getting to be a big dude! Hope you're having a lot of looks from colleges. R's done as he pitched the first day. Now I'm running around like a bird-dog scout looking for the best lefties to compare. Saw one last night 90-91 and R said he saw one 91-92. Hope Krak Jr. dominates!
