O.K for the past 5 weeks the boy has not thrown a ball. Worked out and rested. Whats a good throwing routine for a kid who's coming off this type of shut down. It was just rest no injury.
Regardless of age, start with catch plate to mound,(age appropriate ballfield)then plate to 1B, plate to 2b. Total about 60 throws. Ice 20m, check soreness next morn. Sore - wait a day. Not - more catch,days as tolerated.... Increase #throws, add plate to 2b + a few yards, etc.
