This is how I see it. If Raffy is really concerned about his reputation and place in the game (HE) can come forward and tell us what the banned substance that he tested positive for is. If it was a banned over the counter substance that he mistakenly took or steroids etc. If he does not come forward I think the answer becomes obvious.

I agree with Coach May... he should reveal to the world what supplement(s) he was using. It can be tested, and it would corroborate his story.
If he doesn't talk, then he's guilty in the court of public opinion, at least.
I would certainly hate to think that Canseco was the most trustworthy (if you can use that word) of the group that testified on steroid use. Maybe Mark McGwire was smart not to testify on record as to what he did or didn't do. I can respect that a heck of a lot more than having someone potentially lie under oath.
I watched some of the Orioles game last night, and Sammy sure seemed to look a LOT smaller than in the past.
I've always liked Palmiero as a player. He has quietly moved into the upper echelon of baseball history, and had probably locked up the HOF with his 3,000th hit. Now, I'm not so sure. I've always felt that Pete Rose belonged in the HOF, even if he did gamble as a manager.
How would you justify putting in a player like Palmiero, and leave out the Hit King?
