Well - What do you know - we got ourselves a "rappin moose".

And yet another idea for Moose cuisine, inspired by the following piece of Moose artistry - and I quote:

Presenting Itsinthegame's orginal recipe for:

Drum roll please:



SAUTEED HONEY RAPPIN MOOSE

1 whole Moose liver, sliced
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup HONEY
1 can beef broth
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1/2 onion, cubed
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 bell pepper, sliced
1/4 teaspoons chili powder
pinch of oregano
pinch of black pepper
salt to taste


Cook it like there is no tomorrow - then wolf it down like a hungry mongrel.

FBM - I think I heard the voice as well Big Grin

The voice/sound I heard when rapping the above words were from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers "Give it Away"

Give it aw-ay, give it aw-ay, give it aw-ay now... that chorus reminded me of what is sure to become a BW classic....

Bullwinkle - I would consider copyrighting those words and finding someone attractive to rap them for you like DB2BMom. I mean you could try and rap them yourself but I think there is just too much competition this time of year from the likes of Rudolph and other moose-like creatures.

I know that with family commitments and job commitments it is very difficult to make the time to do something as special as the Rappin Moose has just done.
Especially during the Holiday season.

But here is the way I see it:

If a wacky Moose from California - with a family - can get his RAP not only on - but down - and in grand style - AND if:

A displaced Moose hunter - with a family - can continue his endless pursuit of game hunting and recipe creation...........

Then you too - can find the time to do whatever it is you aspire to.

Just do it!!!

Do you boil your Moose meat before you broil it??

I find that get's the wild pungent smell out of the meat.

You can try to Marenate it.

But you must use some strong Herb's and spices to really get that full flavor.

It just depend's on what time of year it is.
I like when the Moose has been Foraging on Peanut's and Beer.

You know Marinate from the inside out.LOL

Usually, the bigger the Rack the more self convident the Moose.

That's there undoing.

They get a little Cocky.
And think that nobody notice's there Prancing around the wood's singing, (I'm the king of the Forest).

Then BAM. Light's out MOOSE.

Of course ITS, Its not that easy is it ITS.

Sometime they send out decoy's like squirrel's, rabbit's, anteater's, but for the most part they think there untouchable.

In order to catch a Moose,
You must become a Moose.

And Nobody want's to try that, for fear of not coming back to Reality.
I mean really.
Who want's to go thru life as a Moose anyway.
Everybody taking pot shot's at you all the time.

Geeesh,...I'm just not sure why everyone is so impressed with a moose who raps. Must be the low level of competition you all are used to in your part of the woods. In my part of the country,...the only cause for a moose to be truely appreciated is one who not only raps, but one who can dance, too.
Then and only then, will the scouts & snipers start to take notice! Without both, no letters of interest shall appear on any grazing moose's voluptous hiney or in his pasture. Big Grin
