Doing the right thing, is sometimes the hardest thing. Average people, from all walks of life, choose the hard route everyday...and smile, and persevere.

The shooting happened on my night off or I would have been up there on the call. The officers that were there later remarked how extrordinary Steve was. Even on the way to the hospital, he was asking about the safety of the two women.
