HC Dad - college games cancelled up and down the CA coast today due to rain - double header on Saturday for the Kansas/Stanford series and and on Sunday for the Cal/LMU series. When can HS practices begin??

Ummmm...that's why the site was started in the first place. To help other get through the process of navigating college recruitment and pro ball. But, what do I know anyway?
Rob, That was an excellent post, and nobody commented on it. When I joined this website about 5 years ago,I was interested in finding out more about the college process and it was people like OPP, Fungo, Bighit, TR,Bob, HV, TennDad, yourself, NY Mom, Chill and quite a few others that helped me prepare for when my youngest headed off to College.
When people like OPP and Bighit decide to leave, the people that lose out are the newer members who are trying to figure out how to handle the College process. I have stayed around for only one reason, and that is to pass on what I have learned, and a lot of it came from the people mentioned above.When good people who are knowledgeable about High School, College, baseball and how to fit them all together leave, it just means that some of the people that drove them to leave will be cutting big checks when it comes time to go to college.
CDTLB, As for reliving childhood, I do that every day when I stop by to see my grandkids. It makes me feel young.
First official day of practice here in Socal is Monday, 2/14.
Pb-one, so soon, that's nice. not here in new york, my boy stays inside and practice's all year round for high school ball to cold to be out on the field.and it's NOT free, but it beats him sitting around.good luck this year
