Nice article Coach and glad to see your team is hot. In hs baseball any publicity you can get or create yourself is a good thing. Even in large suburban areas baseball coverage is scant compared to basketball & football. Anything you can do to get recognition for your program and kids is commendable.

Thanks, I hear Marion is an absolute LOAD! Coach Butler does a great job down there. Every now and then, someone ask if we are related. However, we are not. James is going to Wabash Valley. He is doing a great job for us and is a hard charger. We work and play hard. That is all that I can ask. We will have to go through some very good teams to play each other in the Sectional. Of course, we won't back down. Again, THANKS!

The trainer says that I will risk nerve damage if I throw. He scared me a little last night in the middle of our practice. I am throwing tonight. I'm a grown man and so, I know the risk. We have a bunch of games back to back and they need to hit some of that meat I throw in there. I'll have a lot of time to heal up in the summer. We are very excited about the Lincoln Tournament. We get to play great competition and I get to spend some time with my Seniors. Good luck to your team as well.
