This happened in a pre-season game of ours and a similar incident occurred in the Arkansas-Florida game Sunday.
With two strikes the batter swings at a curve ball in the dirt, it bounces off the catcher and is kicked (unintentionally) by the batter as he scrambles out of the batters box to run to first.
The ball ends up far enough from the catcher he cant retire the runner at first.
1. What is the correct ruling?
2. Does it matter if the ball is out of the batter's box? If in fair territory or foul?

1. No intent, no interference. Live ball.
2. None matter.

I'm curious. What was the call in the college game?
Thanks.
