Stupidest Base Running Error Ever?

SF Giants get a double play on a walk that should have loaded the bases. Men on second and third, 1 out. Batter walks. Runner wanders off 2nd toward 3rd. As he approaches third man on third takes off toward home. Man on second is caught is a run down and tagged out. Then man on third is caught in a run down and tagged out. Inning over!

A double play with the ball never being put in play.
