We've played 14 games so far, squeezed 4 times out of 5 attempts, zero steal attempts. BTW, same kid laid down all 4 good ones.
Not enough squeezes IMO. I managed a higher caliber travel team up to 16U and we would squeeze, either a safety or suicide, quite often in close ball games. I had some kids that were really good with the bat and could get a good bunt down for virtually any pitch, anywhere. My sons high school team has NEVER done it...

Agreed, it is my experience that the strategic bunt is very much under-utilized in HS baseball.......
Love them both, but it needs to be the right situation with the right athletes.
