Just wondering what you guys think would be the best options for 18u summer baseball after my high school season is over. I will be attending a D1 in california after I graduate this year, but it is not a school in the Pac 12 and this school will likely not be able to place me into a collegiate summer league in California or the West Coast League in the NW, unless a spot opens up for a need (SS) so not a pitcher.  I am from the NW and would like to play a competitive 18u summer season and I am pretty much open to playing anywhere in the country, such as a high level 18u travel team. I am concerned with the level of play in the NW, because I have noticed when I go out of the region, the competition is much more of what I would expect to face in college.

Have you looked into other collegiate baseball leagues like the Alaska Baseball League?  And there's other leagues like Puget Sound Collegiate League and many more on the west coast.  You should have a talk with your upcoming college HC and see what he might suggest and what he might be able to do for you.

Have not looked into the Alaska baseball league, wondering if there is any leagues in the midwest or east coast that take high school players. The PSCL takes pretty much only community college guys and would not be a step up from my current competition. HC reiterated that the leagues they have good connections with would not be something to bet on as they are filled with mostly current d1 california players and big time pac 12 recruits.
