Summer college baseball in S. GA

Let me be the first to welcome you to Georgia Equipman!

As far as summer programs go here in the Peach State there are really only 2 options I'm afraid.

One is a league called the Great South League. My son played in it after his freshman year. They have teams located all over the state of Georgia and in some of the other SE states. PM me if you want to know anymore particulars that you'd like to know about this leage.

The other (and better) league in Georgia is the Sunbelt League. It's primarily located in the Atlant area with a couple teams south of Atlanta but no where near Albany. Ran very well. Strong competition. You'll need to sign up for this particular league this fall for it fills up quick.

Sorry I hadn't answered you earlier, been very busy with the move and school.
Son is still trying to find a school to transfer to next fall. He has a workout scheduled with Thomas Univ in Thomasville during xmas break and trying to get in with Columbus State U, Reinhardt and Southern Wesleyan in SC. They have all responded to the initial emails, but, nothing since. Not sure whats going on with that. I wish they would just send an email to say thanks, but, no thanks so you could move on. We will see how this goes. I like CSU because it has a very reasonable tuition as opposed to the NAIA schools like Reinhardt. Is your son still playing?

Eqipman, my son will be going to CSU next fall. We really liked the school as well. If you wind up going there, let me know and we'll hook up.

He will be playing at Emmanuel College up in Royston, Ga. this spring. By the skin of his teeth! lol

It's a NAIA school that plays in the very tough SSAC.

Well we are in Albany, Ga for Christmas and made a quick visit to Valdosta State yesterday. We were lucky that they were hosting a baseball camp for high schoolers and so we stopped by the field and met the head coach. Had a nice conversation with him so he told equipboy to send him links to video and his playing schedule in Florida for spring training trip in March so that he could maybe come down and see him play.
