With all the rain and cancelled tournaments this summer .. Do you have a problem with the "fee" you were charged being that you will only get about 1/2 (or less) of the baseball / practice this summer?

Of course going in .. you are promised that
x-amount of tournaments are a part of the "fee" you are paying .. Yes - we know the money goes to additional "things" too ..

As July hits (and more rain) .. just wondering how much more baseball is left? Since they arent making up any of the tournaments or games cancelled.(understandable)
*If your team has not qualified for additional tourn's

Do most tournament host refund the team fee if the tournament does not even play a single game?
If so should the Team reimburse the player?

I know that this summer is in no way "normal" and not sure a team (in Tx) has ever had to miss so many summer games ..

I am very interested in what type of response this question brings. I am struggling with the same question due to my son being a pitcher only and only pitching in the weekend tournaments. So he plays no league games and gets one start on the weekends (which is ok if we were playing) and with all the rain we are looking at 4 maybe 5 games max this summer.

Not sure what the answer is but maybe Dbat GM or one of the top guys from one of the teams can chime in on this.
I can tell you that my 13u team has one tournament left this summer that has already been paid for. Before we left for Omaha, I gave each parent on my team a check for what was left over from our teams funds. That included refunds from tournaments that we were rained out of. If we lose the last tournament, due to rain and get a refund, I will give that back to the parents also. Not sure the plans for my HS sons team. I am not the manager of that team.
