What are most of the summer select teams going to do if the UIL delays keep a lot of their players tied up with more teams playing later?
I know some teams are playing as early as May 22 and Bi District is starting May 21 now?

You always finish your HS season before you start playing select.
The select teams may have to modify their schedule some, but players from teams that do not make the playoffs will be available after the games on May 15 and 16.
Most rosters carry some extra...especially pitchers.

What will the summer teams do if the UIL and schools keep their current ban of games going and it lasts into summer? If they are not going to let you play inter school games, what makes us think they will allow summer teams to use their fields??

Since it is not a school function I don't see the problem of them renting out the field.

Ah, now you're talking Mav. Back in the college days, I used to come down with the Scotch flu from time to time. Worse in the morning than at night.
I am afraid Tator Salad has built up an immunity to the Scotch remedy...

We're towards the end of flu season. Apparently flu virus thrives in dry cold winter environ and doesn't survive in humid heat. So likely not an issue going into select ball.
Not really clear on how that explains Mexico but that's what I read so it must be true.
