Sun Times - Duncan?

Sean is writing for the Sun Times now. I believe he is doing the baseball preview, which should be out Monday. I know that will ruffle some feathers with some people but my opinion is that if we can get someone who is serious about hs baseball writing articles that is a BIG plus as to the coverage we have received in the past 5-10 years with the Sun Times. For those of you who don't remember or were too young the Sun Times used to do a great job with hs baseball. Their pre-season write-up was 2-3 full pages in the Sunday section.
I am anxious to see how he does with this, almost as anxious as I am to play a baseball game. Last weeks Lane Tech line: RAIN 4, Lane 0

Thanks justin. I also remember those Sun Times articles. The Sun Times still does the best job in the area covering high school sports.

This can only be a good thing. The major papers here in Chicago have done a very poor job with baseball (The Tribune is by far the worst!) so getting a guy who really knows his stuff is really good.

Just think about Sakomoto in The Tribune who is deemed all things in HS Sports and he doesn't know anything.

Couldn't agree more. It seems that someone in authority over at the Sun-Times has seen the PBR, gotten to know Sean and made a smart move.

Hope they improve HS and college coverage at the Sun Times.
