Which showcase is better? The sunshine northeast or northeast top prospect... Details about each one that are not listed on the PG Website are really helpful... I see the Sunshine northeast is $675 but I'm not sure about the Top Prospect so if any one knows any further information please let me know

JoJo,

Of the two you listed, I would recommend the Sunshine for you simply because of the timing. Your profile says that you graduate in 2015. It would be better for you to have the evaluation in May so that you can reference your PG profile when you contact schools in the summer. This summer will be the busiest recruiting period for most of the players in your class.

The Sunshine event would be a great way for you to get an objective evaluation of your skills, but most guys will not be coming away from it with scholarship offers. It can be a valuable piece of your recruiting plan, but it can't be the whole plan, and it may not be the best use of your limited recruiting dollars.

The good people on this forum could give you better advice with some details about your situation. Are you very strong academically? Are you looking for a college near home or far away? Have you been to any type of baseball showcase/camp where they gave you an objective evaluation? Will your summer team be playing in any Perfect Game tournaments? Are they playing at Diamond Nation, Baseball Heaven, etc?
