Did the refs help Stevens drop all those dead on passes?

Did the refs help the "hawks get confused at the end of both halves?

The good teams overcome the refs problems--always have and always will

Isnt it odd that before instant replay we never saw these arguments ?--we took the calls as they came and even after arguing we accepted them--it was all part of the game
I hope that they would institute ball and strike calls electronically when the issue is whether or not the ball actually crossed the plate.

WWWWWWAAAAYYYYY too many bad calls in key situation when the ball is 5-6 inches inside or outside.

The technology is there, use it.

With so much money involved, no room for "human" mistakes.

Ok for little league but not for MLB.

Let's get it done!!!!
When all is said and done I think society world would rather have to deal with pisssed off Seahawk fans than pisssed off Steeler fans. The politically correct Seattle fan will soon forget the game "issues". If the Steeler fans were in the same boat.......I can't imagine the "Steel City" turmoil.

Regardless of the proximity to Detroit, I think the Steeler fan support showed the true colors of "backing your team". What happened to Seattles 12th man?

Did the refs screw over the Seahawks? Of course they did.Did the Steelers benefit from the calls? Of course they did. Do good teams overcome bad calls? Of course they do. But how many bad calls can a good team overcome? Too many bad calls in favor of the steelers. It ruined a fair contest....Worst officiated super bowl ever
THANK YOU, TR and rz1. REALLY tired of all the whining now...STEELERS WON, despite the fact they played one of their worst games of the season. Overcame an entire half-season's worth of ODDS AGAINST to do it, too. GET OVER IT!!

The officiating has been lousy overall the ENTIRE season, but that's not what did the Seahawks in. Dropped passes?? Inability to make the big play at critical times?? Incredibly horrendous clock management?? Off-target field goals that had the distance (NO WIND to throw them off!)?? And now CLASSLESS whining from the top down. BOOHOO!! WE have nothing to apologize for. angryrazz

STILL CELEBRATING is STEELER COUNTRY! Big Grin

ole
Now now, Txdad, where did I ever insinuate that I was classy? crazy And did I not acknowledge that the officiating in the NFL this year has been awful? The most GLARING miscue (Polamalu interception), and the ONLY one (you may correct me if I'm wrong) that the NFL apologized for as completely wrong, nearly took away the Steelers' win against the team that everyone said they couldn't beat, the Colts. They overcame THAT!

Lost in all the "controversy" about the officiating of the Big game is the NFL's final review of the officiating. Bet you didn't even hear about it. Their conclusion---no incorrect calls. Controversial? Yep---you'll have those every game. Wrong? Apparently not.

The fact is, the Steelers did NOT play well, and neither did Seattle. It wasn't a pretty Super Bowl. The Steelers overcame...the Seahawks did not. Steelers win.

For the record: The Steelers are classy. I am not classy. And neither are whiney losers. bore Smile
