Swami is studying magazines, web sites, polls, and other sources of info. to ensure another solid season of prognosticating. I'll be on here "full throttle" by the end of January.
I saw Rockwall #2 in a pre-season state poll.
They're good, but I don't know if I'd go that far with it. Anybody have thoughts on that?

Rockwall will be tough this year with a load of experienced srs and very talented jrs as well...2 jrs on the top 20 in texas list (kieschnick and leverton) but they have some other wild cards who will fill in quite nicely for the Jackets...they are strong 1-9
Forney will be tough again in 3a with corgan and hewett on the mound, also look for chace lankford to have an impact...forneys wildcard is coy davis who will be returning to the field after his basketball stint
denton ryan will be loaded with arms this year with the stud being javier "the hopper" guerra who is backed up by ryan delaughter (garland transfer) cody railsback (dallas christian transfer) and they also had another pitcher dusty smirl returning alnog with david macias
those are probably the 3 favorites from the area in their respective classifications

Rockwall is that good, and they will probably be ranked in the nation. Pre-season polls are nothing but an educated guess, but Rockwall is stacked.

Rockwall is stacked but 2 in state come on.Haveing arms to back up Bishop is the ?.
Did I hear correctly that Preston Clark had knee surgery and is lost for the season?
Clark did have surgery on both knees, but they were minor. He will make a full recovery, and be ready for the season. 
I am glad to hear that. As much as I hate our team having to face him, I enjoy watching him play. He is the real deal!!!

Do really think the Rock will hold that #2 ranking all season?
If kieschnick and leverton find a way around ncaa rules and can somehow come back to rockwall and play than perhaps rockwall will when state this year.

WELL ROCKWALL DOESN'T HAVE THE PLAYERS OF OLD BUT THEY HAVE A VERY GOOD TEAM COMING IN THIS YEAR WITH RICHARD PARSON'S, TIM PARISH, CODY FIELDS AND TRAVIS BALEW ON THE MOUND. THEY ALSO HAVE HENDERSON COMMING BACK WITH A GOOD BAT, A SOLID DEFENSE AND A GOOD OFFENSE. LET'S PLAY BALL
