The only things I see is a lack of any real hip rotation on load, and I think he's a little too wide in his stance to take a stride forward. Being this wide may inhibit him from the hip rotation in his load as well. Usually in stances this wide, I see more of a non-stride swing (Toe-tap, or a slight slide of toe and then heel drop).

Having said that, everyone is different, and if he's having success maybe experiment in the off-season...

Other than that, he gets through the ball very well and does get into a decent hitting position at impact.
