HayBull,

Not that there aren’t a whole lot of knowledgeable people here, but to tell the truth I think you’d have chance of getting more response if you posted in a forum that was more tuned into kids of your boy’s age. Try http://www.baseball-fever.com/...oaching-Fundamentals The reasons I suggest that are this site is GENERALLY directed at players of HS age questions, while that other sire has a much broader audience and you’ll prolly find more people working with children your boy’s age.

That being said, you’re always welcome here, so don’t go away! I’m just trying to get you as much assistance as possible. Good luck!

Thanks a lot for the replies.

standballdad...if you have any suggestions...we are open and appreciative.

cabbagedad...that is exactly what we have been working on.

Not the biggest 11 around, but he is 5'7" 180 and he is swinging a 31" 29 oz. Rawlings Big Stick in this video, which probably does impact him pushing the bat somewhat.

Again, thanks for the help.

As he takes his stride have him pull his right shoulder blade (scapula) back, this will help with getting a good stretch and forcing his right elbow to his side before he launches his swing.
