Runner at 3rd base w/one out. Fly ball is hit to left center field. Left Fielder attempts to catch the ball and the ball bounces off his mitt and up into the air, and the Center Fielder ends up catching it. Runner at 3rd base tags up and leaves 3rd base to run home as the ball hit the Left Fielders glove. Defensive team appeals to 3rd base that runner left early.

What's your call? Safe or Out?

Per NFHS rule 8-2-4, safe.

"ART. 4 . . . If a fair or foul batted ball is caught, other than a foul tip, each base runner shall touch his base after the batted ball has touched a fielder."
