She was 38.

Sharlene was diagnosed with stomach cancer in August. The cancer spread and she went into hospice Monday at Baylor University Medical Center.

Memorial services have yet to be determined but will be posted on McKinneyNews.net as soon as they become available.

Sharlene is survived by her husband, Jim, four kids, Ashley, Tanner, Colin and Amy, and one grandchild.

Tanner is with his family Wednesday and expects to play in Wednesday's game against Lake Dallas at 7:30 p.m. at Lions Field, weather permitting.

Also, If you prefer, a memorial fund has been established for the Moore Kids. If you would like to donate the address is below.

Deb Lalumandier and Connie Dowell are also collecting donations to have the Moore’s home professionally cleaned and the carpet shampooed while the family is in Omaha. It will be nice for them to come home from Omaha to a fresh start with less on their plate to do. If you are interested in contributing to this you can contact Connie Dowell, 972-540-6171. If there are more donations than cost the remainder of the money will be put in the memorial fund for the family.

If you are interested in taking meals to the family when they return from Omaha you can let me know and we will get you on the calendar for that as well. ss@etci.com.
