Halfmoon, I think that's an excellent choice. Don't forget to keep me posted on your research and decisions.
Will do...I also want to reiterate (which means say again to the "clod stompers" and "hillbillies") that I will be in your great state with my son and our Tundra Cheeseheads the week of the 28th of March at the Complex just West of Jeff County High School playin in Gerald Patterson's tournament. We've got a nice big cabin near Sevierville and would surely welcome any websters to stop by, set on our porch and chat about baseball.
Halfmoon,
If you're planning on fixin biscuits & gravy while in Sevierville, you'll definitely draw a crowd! Are you going to allow whittlin, chewin, and spittin while settin on the porch? Also need to make sure you have a swing and a rocker or two.

Got everything cept a sleepy hound dog who will have to stay home! Last son is an aspiring picker too and he'll bring the Washburn 6 string.
Halfmoom,
When the date gets a little closer why don't you email me and let me know the young'ins playing schedule. I will try and be in attendance. Might even drag the infamous HiwasseeVol along, if he is not busy selling furniture to the rich folks and he can get a travel pass from the "home."

Bob, we're trying to encourage Halfmoon to relocate to our fair state.
Don't you think we should keep him away from HiwasseeVol?
I'd hate for Halfmoon to get a negative impression of our area.

Will do, Bob.... Bizzaz, you haven't seen me yet! On second thought I think I'll fit right in.

Bubba Halfmoon: I think that once you visit EAST Tennessee, you will not even consider middle or west. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing really "bad" about middle and west Tennessee...it's just that they are so far away from EAST Tennessee! Perhaps I can make your tournament at the Patterson complex. Not sure if I will be able to attend son's game in North Carolina.
Have a good'un!

The end of March may be a bit early, but there are few places in the world like East Tennessee in springtime.
Halfmoonslider,
Obviously, you have never seen the movie "Deliverance" before...
Bob,
I think the only way "The Home" will let HV out is by escape from now on..No more passes..

Don't worry lafmom, Deliverance was set in the North Georgia mountains. That's at least a day's wagon ride from Hiwassee.
Shewwww - I feel better now Bizazz!
Wow- even after a bad day you Tennessee guys (and Bama )can make me laugh. i still say you are the wittiest (sp?) ones on the site!
Bizazz,
Your point about keeping Bubba Halfmoon away from Hiwassee Vol is well taken. However, there are some things that we haven't mentioned yet in this thread that HV could assist Bubba HM with, such as:
1) Where do you buy good moonshine?
2) Where's the welfare office, will need to sign up for check immediately? (on second thought, I'd like to sign up too)
3) Forget Elvis, where can you find Festus, or better yet, Miss Kitty?
4) After welfare checks start, is that taxable income? (maybe you'd better handle that one Bizazz

Anyone interested in stopping by the Southeastern Baseball Complex just down the road from Jefferson County High School on Dumplin Valley Road and saying howdy, our schedule is up on our website www.ballcharts.com/wwbaseball
Halfmoon, We've played in that complex many many times over the years - good place to play in the summer and fall as there's always some scouts/coaches around. Good luck to your son and have a safe trip!
