Tarsal Coalition Surgery

Hi Guys I've been a long time lurker and a fairly new member here. My 13 year old son will be having this surgery in a few months and was wondering if anyone has been through it. Is there anything I should be aware about recovery or after ? How will it affect playing baseball and other sports. Thx. Larry
