For the fourth year in a row, TCA wins their regional and heads to the State Semifinal in TAPPS 6A in Waco, next Thursday, 4 pm.

Collikar son said he could invision Coach showing no emotion lumbering across the field to shake the other coaches hand.

Yep, and the opposing coach was former UT and MLB pitcher Calvin Schiraldi...but you would have never guessed by looking at Coach Sharp's demeanor....just another day at the ballfields

For all our metroplex friends the TAPPS 6A State Semifinals and Championship games will be broadcast on local radio at KTXG 90.5 FM and on the internet at KTXG.org beginning at 3:30 with a pregame show. Game time is 4 pm.

Good luck guys, we at Nolan had a great deal of respect for TCA, their coaches and players. They were always well prepared and played the game the right way.

We spent 8 years at Nolan and never took home a baseball state championship. Congratulations on another great year and bring the title back to the DFW area!!

Thanks to all for the well wishes.

Houton St. Thomas advanced to the championship game and will be playing Beaumont Kelly today in the 6A finals.

Best of luck to the TCA graduating seniors, we will certainly miss them next year.

Yes PD... you are right. There is something about that youngest child I guess.

I went by our field today and the only people there were a couple of young dads throwing in the cages to their 8-9 year olds. I stood there and watched and thought about how quickly it all went by.
