TCU and Texas State coaches moving on!

TCU's asst. head coach Randy Mazey was announced as the new Head Coach at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV.
He will bring along as his asst. from Texas State University and former Flower Mound HC Derek Matlock, who has been at Texas State the past 5 years.

Congrats to both guys. I got to know Coach Mazey and Coach Matlock a bit and they were always eager to share drills and tips with other coaches. I wish both the absolute best!!

Mazey and Matlock are terrific baseball guys...But West Virginia is no sleeping giant in baseball..more like a med school cadaver...

WV good school, great town, FBall and BBall will be immediate successful in Big 12... which should help.. but WV not exactly a baseball hot bed with talent or interest
