Team One in Texas in August? Is this an event not listed in the schedule posted on their website (it is showing Texas July 5-6)? We wanted to go to ND but summer team has a tourny. August would have worked though. Do they have another schedule posted somewhere else?

Team One is great as far as our family is concerned! Our 04 enjoyed the experience and received a lot of attention as a result. I highly recommend it.
I was wondering some things about Team One as well..How much is it?? and do you need an invitation to go??

My son was invited as a sophomore (2005 grad) last year. It was a great experience and even though he was an underclassman, it generated several letters of interest.
He went to the Texas site at University of Houston. It was a good facility, well-run and everyone had plenty of opportunity to play in their two positions.
He loved competing against some of the best and seeing that he could hold his own.

Heard a lot of good things about Team One...however, I am concerned now that they are affliated with Baseball Factory.....
Received a letter/promotion from T1 and said that in order to evaluate my son he should go to BBF first. Seems like they're prop each other up.

Many negative comments were heard-grossly overpriced, overly positive on its ratings, etc. Team One however was highly regarded. The merger is kind of like Chrysler merging with Mercedes-did we end up with a better Chrysler or a poorer Mercedes?

There have been significant changes in personel since last year at Team One in addition to the Baseball Factory merger.
My sense is that the organization is somewhat in flux this year and may not be as strong a tool for the players or recruiters as it has been in the past.

My son has been invited to the one in South Bend but the timing doesn't work due to another tournament he is in. He was also invited to the one in Houston. Should he go even though we are from the midwest? Are the same scouts there such as the Ivy League and Big Ten or will it be mostly southern schools?
