Both have reportedley made their final offers

The angels reportedly offered ervin santana and eric aybar,the stros offered ensberg,everett,nieve.

If I were the Orioles I would make the deal with the Angels. They're obviously not going to win with just Tejada, but Santana is a good young pitcher with a lot of potential. We all know pitching wins. Aybar is a flashy shortstop that can hit for average and has good speed.

Apparently, at least for now, tejada ain't going nowhere. But the trade I like is the dodgers sending izturis to the Cubs for maddux.

If you're old enough to remember, that's kinda in the league of Ernie Broglio for Lou Brock, only the Cubs got it right this time.

the dodgers are idiots, angry at izturis 'cause he took an extra day off to be with his wife after the birth of their child.
