Texarkana College is a member of the North Division of NJCAA Region XIV. Other members of that division are Angelina, Bossier Parish, Lon Morris, Navarro, Northeast Texas, Panola and Paris.

This past season Texarkana came in third in the division behind Navarro and Paris. The previous year they were first and won the Region XIV tournament. The easy answer to your question is yes they have a good program that is very competitive. It will be interesting to see how they do this coming season.
Facilities are important, but after 3 years of experience in the Juco level, getting to know the coaching staff is much more important. Talk to players who have played there. See how many players transfer after their freshman year. Another consideration is location. Most parents want the chance to see their sons play as often as possible. Although its not always the first consideration, it does factor into the overall experience.
