Texarkana has always had good coaches.Dave Van Horn*Arkansas head coach*,Matt Deggs*Texas A&M 1st asst.* and Rob Chidress *A&M head coach*to name a few.The new head coach Bolt played for Dave Van Horn at Nebraska as a four year starter. He has been compared to a DVH type coach. Hard nosed but fair, student of the game and great teacher. I look for that program to do great things as they build their team. Texarkana has a tradition of excellence. The town itself is growing and the baseball field is nice. The community gets behind their team. A good choice for a kid who is considering the juco route. With the coaches ties to some big name programs the opportunities to go to the next level seem promising.
