A couple other former local High School kids to mention:

Scotty Sizemore-VCU (Hickory) leads the nation Div 1, in doubles per game and slugging percentage. 10th in the nation in BA .435.

Ryan Zimmerman-UVA (Kellam) is 3rd toughest in the nation Div 1, to strike out...6 k's in 168 at bats. 3rd in the ACC and top 25 in the nation in BA .417
