The Texas Blackhawks Baseball Club (operated since is seeking players for the spring/summer 2009 season. The Blackhawks play in the BBI (Boys Baseball Inc) premier division as well top tournaments around the nation. The Blackhawks 18U also plays in the Texas Showcase League where teams from around the state play in front of college and professional scouts to showcase their talents. The 2008 18U team had all 11 members sign and are now playing college baseball. Alumni of the Blackhawks include Giovanni Gallardo, starting pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers. Currently the club offers teams for 18U, 17U, 16U, 15U, and 14U. The Blackhawks have an affiliate club called the Blue Thunder. The Blue Thunder operates as an extension of the Blackhawks hosting 14U, 13U, 12U, 11U, and 10U teams. The Blue Thunder exists to further develop the talent/skills of the younger age player in preparation for participation on the Blackhawks showcase teams.
