We made many a trip to Memphis to watch our son play against Rhodes, beautiful campus, nice kids and Coach C runs a great program.
Your son made a very wise choice.

Congratulations to your son Selkirk. This is kind of a fun thread for me. When I first started posting on the HSBBW in about 2003, I included some information about D3's like Millsaps, Rhodes and others, since our son played for Trinity, Tx. One pretty avid poster who had a very talented son playing in the SEC posted to the effect: who are those schools, never heard of them and what kind of baseball could they be playing.
D3 was not a common theme during those times. (of course I might have been a bit sensitive in those days too! 
Nice to read this thread and the good wishes for your son. As an old timer who's baseball days are in the rear view mirror, it is very much fun to read all the great D3 information folks like BishopLeftiesDad and BOF provide about the D3. Even more, it is wonderful to know D3 baseball is accepted as an important part of the service provided on the HSBBW!
