I hope everyone is staying safe and is doing well.
My 2021 committed to a HA DIII a few weeks ago. Not where we expected at all but it is a great fit for him, so we are very happy that he's going to a great school and he will still have a chance to pitch in the coming years. I had major doubts about the academics and baseball matching up, especially given the circumstances, but they did. So crazy.
A few thoughts for parents with kids still looking for a fit: Keep emailing, keep pushing, you NEVER know what will get things over the finish line. If you can, find a travel program that has connections and fights for every player; we did and I think it made all the difference. His travel program has tons of bigtime DI players but the GM and his pitching coach fought just as hard for our son and went the extra mile for him.
Last, and not least, thanks to the HS Baseball Web crew. Man, you all were so generous and helpful and encouraging to me. I appreciate it and hope to pass what I learned on to other folks on this site as you did for me and my son.
