I am working on the additional smilies / emoticons / graphics requests, but it may take a few days. I need to figure out copyright issues for any of the specific team-related images.

And now the legal fine print:
In case anyone wonders, I often work with Web graphics in my real job, and I am very careful to observe copyrights. The smilies I added so far were either purchased specifically for use on our forums, or were made from clip art I have also purchased, and then animated for us to have fun with. I never just grab an image off of another site without permission to use it, and don't even use graphics from "free" download sites, because it's difficult to know for sure that the "free" site didn't take the image without permission from someone else!

So...I'll be checking into all requests for additions to our "toybox", but it might take a little while. In many cases, I may need to give you a slightly more generic or cartoon-style version of a character (like the bears I added at the request of Cal Bears Mom, URKMB!), which hopefully will make it useful to other members, also.

MN-Mom - first of all, thank you for your timely response and sincere sensitivity to what could easily be a volatile subject. I truly appreciate your thoughtfulness in bringing a much needed and beloved icon to life .

I am sure this sentiment is shared by others, who can less easily exhibit their school spirit, either by competence (e.g. I am a tree), or confidence when, as a tree, I 'dance', (or whatever it is I am doing), I totally negate the scholastic and social achievement necessary to attend my academic institution.... With every shake the message becomes clearer and clearer.....
'Hark, what is the tree whispering?'..... Is it 'Go Bears'? I think so.....

Say for example...Just up the coast is UC Santa Cruz...The UCSC Mascot is a Bananna Slug...

Now...I for one am have recently exhibited by example my extreme distaste for anything Karmic...

But I gotta ask what did our dear Mn-Mom do in a past life to deserve the fate of being full time smilie mascot chaser?
