Well, we were celebrating another good outing by 11 ----- I hope your girlfriend doesn't mind listening to baseball talk.

WOW. Kids played summerball and highschool ball together and haven't even been invited to lunch with PD. I would have even split the check with him.

ESP -- 11sdad just happens to live in Arlington, where I work -- I'd be glad to meet you for lunch there any day of the week!

"glutton"? <- that's the nicest name I've been called in months! Actually, it's more about the paycheck....and there's this thing called "college" (4 years down + 1 more year @ DBU + 4-5 years....somewhere). It does make it a challenge to get to the games in time.

Thanks, but it has been a tough season...he didn't come home looking like a guy that had a couple of extra base hits last night.

His "chick" was in attendance last night, maybe that had something to do with it...may have to pay her way the rest of the year.

11's - Shhh. I heard last Mother's Day he took his wife to Sonic and told her she could order anything she wanted off the right side of the menu.

I had planned on taking her to Salt Grass -- we were on the way. However, she mentioned her one Mother's Day wish ("no baseball talk"), at which point the car turn a right turn into Sonic. Go figure.

I think dessert included a DBAT double-header. A good time was had by all.

Did you at least let her Sonic Size it?

I offered -- (what kind of a guy do you think I am?) -- but she decided against it considering the quality of the porta-potties at the field ----- and you don't generally read those two words in the same sentence.
