We've been through 3 drafts and I must admit I'm kind of glad we don't have to go through it again.

The first time through with our oldest we didn't even know it was going on ...overheard a parent talking about it after the first day had already come and gone. Three years later we went through it again with him...definitely more aware of everything. The next year our youngest was taken on the second day as a Draft to Follow.

I'm writing this morning just to offer some reassurance to those of you going through the process that your son's future is bright regardless of what happens these next 2 days. In looking back, it was just one piece in the puzzle of each son's journey towards adulthood.

I truly believe that whatever happens, happens for a reason. Try to remember that God loves and cares about your precious son even more than you do and He will "direct his paths." Look for the positives and your son will be fine.

"To everything there is a season. A time for every purpose under heaven."

You're all in my prayers. God bless!
