Certainly by now all of us throughout the wide, wide world of the High School Baseball Web are familiar with the "Chicago Way" of doing things. Primarily enmeshed with Chicago politics, the "Chicago Way" obviously is a preferred route for non-politicians as well to corruptly stuff their pockets to the point where their gussets flat just give out.

I don't know what you're talking about. I've always been led to believe that Chicago has turned out an endless list of fine, upstanding individuals who leverage their high position in life only to benefit those around them...

Richard J. Daley
Richard M. Daley
Rod BlagohowtheheckdoyouspellitVich
Dan Rostenkowski
Jesse Jackson
Jesse Jackson Jr.
Rham Rahm Ram Emanuel
Barack Obamma
Roland Burris
Dorothy Tillman
Todd Stroger
Carol Mosely Braun
I always like the story about how The Rainbow Coalition instituted a boycott against Pepsi for racial discrimination.

The Rainbow Coalition ended their boycott after a brief period when Pepsi made concessions...it was thought the concessions were about minority hiring and treatment.

Did you know the Jackson family now owns two Pepsi bottlers?

Another blustery and bullying example of the Chicago Way!

Wear 'Em Down Chicago Way
(Sung to the tune of: Bear Down Chicago Bears)
Wear 'em down, Chicago Way, make every pay to play the way to victory.
Wear 'em down, Chicago Way, alight with all your might and so fearlessly.
We'll never forget the way you drilled 'em with elation at every location.
Wear 'em down, Chicago Way, don't let 'em know why you're making 'em frown.
You're the crime 'gainst the hoi polloi of Illinois, Chicago Way, wear 'em down!
