How's Andy doing ? Jimmy got off to a rather slow start but finally seems to be coming around but only to break his thumb at tonight's game.Sometimes it's a cruel game. BTW I just moved to LaGrange so maybe I'll come around to see the kids play .Keep in touch .
Thanks

Just an update on Freidrich out of Loyola. Chris was named player of the week for the second time in the Ohio Valley Confernce for Eastern Kentucky and was recently named Louisville Slugger D1 player of the week and is currently 4-0 with a no hitter in which he struck out 10. Friedrich has a 2.00 ERA in 27 innings and is emerging as the ace of the staff as a Freshman.
Freidrich took pitching lessons from Jim Sakas up at North Shore Baseball Acadamy in Highland Park. Other pitching prospects who are former Sakas products include Miles Clauss (Freshman,U of Texas), Matt Havey (Northwestern), and Patrick Feeney (Butler). Brad Altbach is also a Sakas product who has signed to play with the Bradley Braves next spring.

Congrats to Freidrich of Loyola on his fine start to his collegiate career.

Thanks Soxnole for the time to compile the list.
Here is a great web site to follow these kids.
www.ncaa-baseball.com
It show a list of every DI baseball game scheduled for the day (And updates the results) and a link to Gametracker or LiveStats to "Watch" the game in real time. I find myself following games all around the country while my wife watches reruns of Survivor.
Good Luck to all those kids still living their dream.

He must be slipping,it took 5 at bats in college!
