Hey. Liverpool deserves it. Millwall as well. But poor, poor Slough? The setting for "The Office" and now this? Is there no end to its bad press? Just because it is an extraordinarily boring and ugly town? As long ago as the beginning of WWII, so the poem went:

Come friendly bombs and fall on Slough!
It isn't fit for humans now,
There isn't grass to graze a cow.
Swarm over, Death!

The "World Champion" was decided a couple years ago on the basis of what amounts to free throws.

I tried once to watch a bit of kickball as my son's girl friend was the goalie and I promised I'd watch a little. The clock winds down to "0:00", and they keep running around. They re-set it to 5:00, keep playing, then around the 2:30 mark, they stop. When I asked for an explanation, I was told the clock is an "approximation", and the real time is "kept on the field".

Great exercise for little kickballers, but get them away from it at age 6 before permanent damage is done.

You can definitely tell the kids that played futbol and the ones that didn't by their agility or lack of on baseball field.

Surely you didn't mean that exactly like that? If so that would be the strongest promotion I've ever heard for getting kids to play Socker.

Hasn't there been thousands of very agile baseball players and other athletes who didn't play socker? I'm sure it does help a lot of kids gain agility, though. Then again there are many ways to improve agility.IMO
