I spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon enjoying the only game worth watching. Pearl River CC entertained the LA Stars in Poplarville. I will have to say, the Stars had a very good team. Even though they lost both games in a doubleheader, they put on quite a show. You see, this team is comprised of highschool seniors from all over the state of Louisana. They had some good pitching, I wish there had been a roster posted for them so I could tell you there names. They also used wood bats while the JUCO boys were using alum. They only had 12 or 13 players and about half of them pitched. It was rumored in the stands that all of these boys had already signed with colleges. I even saw a couple of scouts there with their stopwatches and radar guns. Anyway it was a nice day at the park( it beat watching the AINTS lose another game).

Thanks for the kind words...it was a great day of baseball! We were short several players, but I thought we still played OK. The only guy that played Sunday that has committed anywhere was the CF (3-hole hitter) Trey Simon to LSU. The other guys haven't committed yet, but several will. The first 3 LHP's I threw were all Juniors...I thought they did great! PRCC had some great players and Coach Artigues does a great job...good luck!

Juniors? You got to be kidding. The first pitcher in the first game was a junior? That kid had to be 6-5. Had a heck of an arm. He had to be throwing in the high 80's. I noticed Artigues talked to him as your player was leaving early. You've got a heck of a team coach. Ya'll don't have a web site do you? I'd like to know who some of those players are and where they go to school.

Good luck to the future and wish your team the best of luck.

Yep...all 3 were juniors...the first guy's (just turned 17) about 6'8" and was mid to upper 80's, the 2nd guy was 85-87, and the last guy was 88-92 on Sunday. Our website site is www.eteamz.com/laallstar. Click on the link below...this is just a fall showcase team that I put together, we are mainly a summer select team, but are going to a huge wood bat showcase tournament in Jupiter, Florida this month, so we're just getting ready...

Yea...you gotta watch Chris...he just re-loads every year with talent.

LA Allstars is the premier team in Louisianna in my opinion. He is also has one of the premier teams in the United States. Allthough there are others in the state that are good.....none compare in my opinion to how hard Chris and his staff work to promote and teach the kids in his program.

Great Job Chris...see ya in Jupiter!
