Ok, this is just a fun post. But I was poking around my new PG Crosschecker account and I asked myself a question I had long considered.. do a great percentage of baseball players wear corrective lenses? So I checked
the top 100 high school seniors. Of these players, there were 77 who had their need or non-need of corrective lenses noted.
22/77 =
28.57% of the top 100 high school baseball players needed corrective lenses.[/b]
Compare this to the general youth population according to the University of Michigan Health System (study done March, 2004).
24%So there you have it. Nerds do play ball. Probably why ballplayers get better grades!
