Well for the posters who know me and those who don't I'm in Cairo, Egypt for the next 6 to 8 weeks and will miss most of my sons senior season. I've already missed the intersquad game and the preseason tournaments will be starting soon. But the HSBASEBALL WEB will help me suffer through. You do all you can to get them to the senior year and something comes up to make you miss all the fun.

Dad4boys,

Sorry to hear about the situation. WI HS teams play in Miller park, take road trips to the Metrodome in MN, the NFL is Playing a game in Lodon next year. Maybe your people can talk to their people and get one of your sons game to played in Cairo. Wink

All in fun.

Get some game film xferred to the web, that would be a nice alternative, but most important....... stay safe!

I really appreciate the concern but you guys don't have to worry about my safety. Egypt is not really like the Middle Eastern countries.I tell my family it is in North Africa because it is and it has a more laid back kind of Islam. True most of the trouble makers were schooled in Egypt but the government here keeps them in line. They do not produce oil like the more conservative Islamic countries, they rely on tourism. One problem at a popular tourist attraction and their economy is in the tank for months.

I do however keep my eyes and ears open all the time. Better safe than sorry.
