If I am not mistaken, I think his agent at the time was Tommy Tanzer, I dont think the article mentioned it.

I read about that whole ordeal in Jerry Crasnick's book, "License To Deal". It was very interesting.

he had scott boras for the last few years after Tanzer, Boras screw up royally too, but not as much as the one calling the shots named Mattt Harrington. Hopefully some clueless players and parents will learn from his mistakes, but I doubt it

I read the story and I know that each situation is different but that guy is nuts! Where in the world can you basically get an entry level "job" where they give you millions just to say you'll "work" for them? And they don't really know if you can even do the job.
That's why some of this baseball stuff is just way out of control. These young players think they are worth millions - for what - the chance that they might make it? Sorry, but that is just my opinion.
