I just found about this and it broke my heart.

If any of you folks out there can help this young man, I know the family would appreciate it.

Travis Grider, a 2006 Oak Park Graduate, (From KC, MO area) was attending Truman State University on academic Scholarship and playing baseball for the Bulldogs when he was diagnosed with Acute Pre-B Cell Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL).

This youg man collapsed on Christmas Day and has had to quit school for now because of Chemo 3x a week. He had been trying to get ready for baseball season and could not understand why he had been so weak. The local community is holding a silent and live auction to help with mounting medical expenses on Feb. 25th at 2:00pm at the VFW Hall in North Kansas City.

Any and all prayers are appreciated!!!

If anyone is able please send a couple of bucks to help this young man out so we will hopefully see him back out on the ballfield soon:
